A photographer who recently escaped from the besieged Syrian city of Homs also dismissed suggestions French soldiers had intervened to secure his evacuation and that of three other Western reporters.

Holder: Constitution doesn't cover terrorists 05 Mar 2012 In his most forceful defense yet of the Obama regime's use of lethal force against U.S. citizens linked to terrorism, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday that the Constitution does not protect U.S. suspects plotting to kill other Americans. Holder said in a speech at the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago that the government is within its rights to kill citizens who are senior leaders in al-Qaeda [al-CIAduh] or affiliate groups who pose an "imminent threat" of attack against the USA and whose capture is "not feasible." [OMG! MSNBC is still obsessed with Rush Limbaugh instead of Obama's assertion he can kill US citizens on a whim. Unbelievable.]

The underpinning legal principles of the issue will be discussed by US Attorney General Eric Holder at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago on Monday afternoon. This is while Defense Department lawyer Jeh Johnson claimed earlier in February that the US pursued legitimate military targets overseas and rejected allegations that the US was engaged in assassinations. Officers in Indiana found a number of cell phones at the scene of a drug bust, and searched each phone for its telephone number... The U.S. Court of Appeal for the 7th Circuit rejected that [warrantless search] argument on Wednesday, finding that the invasion of privacy was so slight that the police's actions did not violate the Fourth Amendment's ban on unreasonable searches. Obama shifts location of G-8 summit from Chicago to Camp David --White House national security spokesman: Security and the possibility of protests were not factors in the decision. [Not much.] 05 Mar 2012 The White House abruptly announced Monday that it had scuttled plans to hold the upcoming G-8 economic summit in Chicago, and would instead host world leaders at the presidential retreat at Camp David in Maryland. It was an unusually late location change for a large and highly scripted international summit and came with little explanation from the White House. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel - the former White House chief of staff who personally lobbied President Barack Obama to hold the summit in Chicago - was informed only hours before the official announcement.
Santorum says he'd be well ahead if he had Romney's money 05 Mar 2012 With hours remaining until the polls open in this crucial state, Rick Santorum said Monday no one expected him to last this long into the Republican presidential contest, but that a combination of hard work and a consistent conservative message has allowed him to compete despite being massively outspent by rival Mitt Romney. Santorum said if his resources were equal with Romney's, he would be running away with the race, but that such a scenario was irrelevant because the GOP nominee will not be able to outspend President Obama in the general election. Santorum said his family is sacrificing financially because he gave up lucrative work to run for president.

John Kasich (R-Sociopath) said thanks but no thanks to immediate federal disaster relief Saturday, even as governors in Indiana and Kentucky welcomed the help. The governor said Ohio can respond to the crisis without federal help and he would not ask federal authorities to declare the region a disaster area.
