You and more than 86,000 ColorOfChange.org members have called on MSNBC to fire Pat Buchanan. The pressure seems to be working:
Buchanan hasn't appeared on the network since we launched our campaign.1
But MSNBC refuses to say whether Buchanan will return, and they seem to think they can hide him away for a while and let this blow over.
Could you take a moment to call leaders at MSNBC and demand that they fire Pat Buchanan?
If enough of us call, it will let them know that we're not going away and increase the pressure on them to act. Just click the link to make your call. We'll give you the number and a short script you can use:

We recently delivered more than 275,000 petition signatures from ColorOfChange.org and CREDO Action members to MSNBC President Phil Griffin and NBC News President Steve Capus, calling on them to fire Buchanan. So far, we haven't heard back from them.
For years, Pat Buchanan has tried to pass off white supremacist ideology as legitimate mainstream political commentary. We know it, and his white nationalist supporters know it.2 But for some reason, MSNBC has continued to play dumb, keeping him off its broadcast in recent days but remaining silent about Buchanan's appearance on white supremacist radio, and the extreme and hateful ideas in his new book. And they've refused to comment on whether he'll return to the air once his book tour draws to a close.
Buchanan has the right to express his views, but he's not entitled to a platform that lets him broadcast bigotry and racial hatred to millions. If the network's leadership wants MSNBC to be seen as a trusted, mainstream source of news and commentary, they need to break their silence about Buchanan now.
Please take a moment to call MSNBC and demand that they fire Pat Buchanan. We'll give you the number and a short script you can use:
