Need Help in Locating Traditional Medicine Men !

To whomever it may concern:

I am conducting research on-line in search of locating traditional practitioners located in their indigenous communities.  Your website has a large collection of indigenous literature and I was hoping that maybe you would be able to point me in the right direction to finding a few healers or community contacts. This is my non-profit and I am trying to find traditional medicine men who would like our assistance:

One Cause, in partnership with communities, non-profit organizations, and government, works to address current health disparities of vulnerable underserved populations.  We prevent sorrow, sickness, disease, and death through educational programs and health promotion that ameliorates poor health behaviors.

One Cause’s goal is to empower traditional medicine men and their communities with knowledge and supplies to sustainably improve their overall health and wellness.  We believe through creative collaboration and coordination with other stakeholders we can improve the quality of life for these people and our environment.

Our community based health programs offer supplies and education in disease prevention by teaching people about nutrition, hygiene, safe sex, and sanitation.  Our health enhancement programs include art and outdoor recreational courses promoting creativity and self-expression which translate into personal and economic growth for the community as a whole.
 

Our beliefs and actions originate from our passion for protecting human rights.  Respecting and preserving indigenous cultures, empathizing and exercising compassion towards underserved communities, and establishing and maintaining social justice allows us to save one life at a time.
