| Comcast on Tuesday purchased General Electric's 49% stake in NBC Universal for $16.7 billion, making Comcast the full owner of the media giant. The cable firm originally bought its 51% stake in NBC Universal in December 2009 for $6.5 billion in cash. Under the deal announced Tuesday, Comcast will also buy GE's remaining NBC Universal properties, including 30 Rockefeller Plaza and CNBC's headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
